February Luncheon

Jason Salamun is the Vice President of Operations at Black Hills Credit Union, a leading regional financial institution serving over 60,000 members across South Dakota. He spends his days doing what he enjoys most: developing talent, designing strategies, and executing awesome ideas.

Jason draws from a wide range of experiences including serving in the U.S. Air Force, guiding Organizational Development and Branding at a Fortune 500 company, and leading an award-winning team of Training and Development professionals at BHFCU.

Fueled by a desire to make a positive impact in our community, Jason has been involved in numerous civic, charitable, and ministry initiatives including serving on the Board of Directors for Leadership Rapid City, launching and leading a church community, and even walking in red high heels to fight domestic violence. Most of all, he’s a proud family man who is grateful to call the beautiful Black Hills his home.

Jason’s diverse background and bold personality has provided him the opportunity to speak to a wide variety of audiences as a trainer, facilitator, and storyteller. January Luncheon

Welcome in 2016 with leaders from our own community! Kicking off 2016 is Brad Saathoff, CEO of Black Hills Works. Brad Saathoff came to the human services field after a career in the retail business world and was inspired by the work that employees with disabilities provided to the workplaces he supervised.
Brad has been with Black Hills Works and BH Services in Rapid City since 2002 where he has put to work his business background to obtain outcomes for people with disabilities in all areas of their lives, including employment, community living skills, day habilitation and recreation, and health outcomes.
Black Hills Works and BH Services is the fourth largest non- government employer in Rapid City with the scope of the organization being woven into the Rapid City community fabric in thousands of ways through the workforce of over 540 people they employ and the over 600 people with disabilities they support. Laura Schad is the Program Information Coordinator with Partnership With Native Americans, serving 60 tribal communities in the Northern Plains and Southwest. Since returning to South Dakota 25 years ago, her employment focus has been working in organizations serving American Indian populations in the Black Hills and throughout the United States. Linda has held the position of President and CEO since December 1, 2007, was the Chamber’s Vice President for 12 years, and prior to that she was the Convention Sales Director for the Rapid City Convention & Visitors Bureau, a division of the Rapid City Area Chamber of Commerce, for 5 years.
