About the Keynote Speaker: Kameron Nelson was recently named the CEO of Lost & Found, the region’s largest nonprofit focusing on comprehensive suicide prevention and postvention programs for youth and young adults (15-34) and their support networks. The Lost & Found team is responsible for training hundreds of youth, young adults, and community leaders on mental health and suicide prevention best practices every year, all while playing an instrumental role in the State of South Dakota’s Suicide Prevention Workgroup.
Kameron was elected in 2022 to the South Dakota House of Representatives, where he serves as Minority Whip and on the House Health & Human Services Committee, House Commerce & Energy Committee, House Retirement Laws Committee, and the State Board of Economic Development.
He recently attended Harvard Kennedy School for an Executive Education program in State & Local Government and earned his bachelor’s from South Dakota State University. GO JACKS!
